2017 Ping G Hybrid Review

2017 Ping G Hybrid

Street Price:  $229

Unique Features: The G hybrid, like many other products in the G line, was created to deliver high launch, greater distance, and maximum forgiveness. Ping engineers were able to build the G hybrid with a lightweight crown that allowed the center of gravity to be moved lower and deeper in the clubhead, which leads to optimal launch, increased moment of inertia, and lower spin rates. Additionally, the G hybrid’s face construction delivers faster ball speeds from impact points across the face. The hybrid comes in five lofts so golfers have multiple options in terms of replacing different irons in their bags.

Tester Comments:   Easily the best hybrid Ping has ever made … Easy to hit, but most importantly it goes straight, and is great hitting from the rough … Really love the trajectory and the distance.
