2018 Ping G400 SFT Driver Review

2018 Ping G400 SFTec Driver

Unique Features:

The SFT has a clubface six percent thinner and 16 percent more flexible than previous models, a combination that gives golfers more ball speed from all impact locations. What’s most impressive, however, is that even with the more streamlined, compact design, the G400 is even more forgiving than its predecessors and can claim a more stable moment of inertia points. A strategically placed tungsten sole weight helps optimize stability and launch conditions. The SFT utilizes a new internal rib structure to deliver acoustics and feel that are more muted and crisp than was found in previous models.

Tester Comments:

This model allowed me to square the face more easily to avoid leakage to the right … Flight with SFT was high and forgiving … Ultra forgiving and has extra help to hit a draw.
