A Golfer’s Haven at Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, FL

Hammock Beach Resort

Situated on two miles of pristine Atlantic shoreline, just south of historic St. Augustine, Hammock Beach Resort delivers an unspoiled haven in the seemingly undiscovered city of Palm Coast, Fla. Presenting true luxury nestled among nature, the resort offers an upscale escape surrounded by scenes of Old Florida, with championship golf, premier accommodations, opulent amenities and epicurean delights.

The renowned Jack Nicklaus Designed Ocean Course was forced to close after high winds and storm surge from Hurricane Matthew caused damage across the majority of its holes – a complete course restoration project, in conjunction with Nicklaus’s masterful design, quickly went underway. Re-emerging in November 2017, the 13-month project included the re-grassing of all fairways, greens and rough with the salt-tolerant Platinum Paspalum grass, as well as the reconstruction of each tee box, bunker and green complex. The 18-hole course now wraps along pristine wetlands and sparkling lakes and features six Atlantic Ocean-hugging holes and a closing stretch known as “The Bear Claw.”

Currently ranked one of the longest and hardest in the state, the Conservatory Course, a Tom Watson Signature Design, is comprised of 140 acres of dramatic elevation and undulating greens not commonly found in Florida. The course includes nearly 76 acres of waterfalls, babbling brooks and field stonework as well as 140 sand and coquina bunkers and three sod-faced bunkers.

Hammock Beach Resort has created multiple golf packages, including the “Unlimited Golf” offer, which allows guests to play alongside sweeping ocean views from the Ocean Course and unique links-style challenge from the Conservatory Course. This package includes luxurious suite accommodations, an arrival and departure round on either golf course, unlimited rounds of golf per adult per night on all mid-stay days and a $20 daily breakfast credit per adult.

Hammock Beach Resort is designed for gatherings of friends and families, with villas and suites ranging from 700 to 2,350 square feet. The multi-bedroom villas and suites allow guests to experience resort living while still enjoying the comforts of home with added privacy, lush tropical environment and endless coastal views. Dining outlets – such as Delfinos, the upscale Italian chophouse, and The Sushi Bar, an intimate venue with the finest grade fish – are available to satisfy all palates. Amongst the golf scenery, Atlantic Grille showcases both the green and blue views while crafting “Shore-to-Table” cuisine that highlights the fresh and local seafood options.

The amenity-rich paradise is enriched by storybook experiences found within the 10,000-square-foot ocean-inspired spa and fitness center, multiple restaurants and bars and the multi-level pool complex with adult and children areas. Indoor and outdoor event spaces span 50,000 square feet which include beach front locations, grand lawns with golf and ocean views and newly renovated ballroom spaces. There are numerous golf and social membership options available at the coastal oasis, which operates as both a private club and resort.
