CROMWELL, Connecticut – The Travelers Championship, which is the final Signature Event of the PGA TOUR season and the only PGA Tour event scheduled in New England, tees off June 25-28 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.
The field is again loaded with the PGA Tour’s top players with all but one of the eligible top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking. Scottie Scheffler has been the top-ranked player in the world since May 2023, and won the Travelers Championship in 2024. He is joined in this year’s field by Cameron Young (No. 3), winner of THE PLAYERS Championship; Matt Fitzpatrick (No. 4); Russell Henley (No. 5); Tommy Fleetwood (No. 6); Justin Rose (No. 7); J.J. Spaun (No. 9), the reigning U.S. Open champion; Collin Morikawa (No. 10); and Keegan Bradley, winner of two of the past three tournaments at TPC River Highlands (2025 and 2023) and Wyndham Clark, who put in a dominant performance at Shinnecock Hills in the 126th U.S. Open.

As a Signature Event, players must qualify for the Travelers Championship based on the following performance criteria, ensuring the participation of 72 of the TOUR’s top players:
Top 50 players from the 2025PGA TOUR FedEx Cup standings.
Aon Next 10 –Top 10 players from the 2026PGA TOUR FedEx Cup standings, through the U.S. Open, who did not finish in the top 50 of the 2025FedExCup standings.
Aon Swing 5 –Top 5 players who accumulated the most FedExCup points from four tournaments –ONE flight Myrtle Beach Classic, THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, Charles Schwab Challenge and RBC Canadian Open –leading into the Travelers Championship.
Players who win a full-points PGA TOUR tournament during the 2026 season.
PGA TOUR members in the top 30 in the Official World Golf Ranking, through the U.S. Open, not exempt via a higher category.

With the U.S. Open scheduled to conclude on Sunday, the final Travelers Championship player field is subject to change. Sponsor’s exemptions will be announced on Monday, once the final field is set through performance categories. There are five past winners of the Travelers Championship expected to compete: In addition to Bradley and Scheffler, Xander Schauffele(2022), Harris English (2021) and Jordan Spieth (2017) are also in the field.
