Bring out the patriot in you! For four days around the Labor Day Weekend, or as they like to think of it – Patriot Golf Day Weekend, you can wave the flag and support all that have given so much in making America what it is today!
It’s a Patriot weekend. All profits from the three golf days go to the Folds of Honor Foundation. All golf days are individual events so you can play on day or play in all three. Event golf days are Friday August 30, Saturday the 31st, and Monday September 2nd.
Cost to play is only $37.00 per person, format is Captain’s Choice. For Military personnel, anyone serving or has served and spouses only $25.00 and includes: golf, range balls, prizes, drinks on course, and cookout after play. Just in case you are not aware of what the Folds of Honor is all about: Since 2007, the Folds of Honor has carried forth this singular, noble mission. To provide educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members.
Their motto says it best; Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy.
Of course we welcome you to hang out for the weekend, be close to all the action and festivities. Lake Marion Golf Club has condos and villas lining the fairways. In fact there are many options of accommodations in the Town of Santee. Hotels, motels and the Chapel Creek Plantation Villas line the first fairway of even more golf at the only Golf Digest 4 Star rated course in Santee, Santee National Golf Club.

Tentatively at this point, but for the week immediately following Thanksgiving, Wednesday December 4th through Friday the 6th is the 3rd Annual Winter 4 Ball Classic with so much included with your registration that you would swear that a Golfing Santa had something to do with this!
56 players participated in year one, 96 in year two and no doubt more in year three. The Santa Sack of registration gifts makes it one that you won’t soon forget.
In 2018 the registration gifts were: A Tour Edge Fairway Wood or Rescue Club (or $180.00 Tour Edge value), a pair of FootJoy or Sketchers shoes, FootJoy glove, 1 dozen Srixon balls, plus a Winter Classic shirt and hat! Damn that is a lot of stuff!!!

Last year’s (2018) cost to participate was all in – only $539.00. For 2019, details and registration goodies are still being worked on – final pricing will be available soon. You can enter as a foursome, twosomes will be paired up. Divisions include: men’s, women’s, and couples. Team handicapping takes place after day one.
Golf’s Little Big Town has the perfect trifecta for a quick getaway. Three courses within a 3-wood of each other, Santee National, Santee Cooper Country Club and Lake Marion. Thinking of a longer stay? It’s no problem to add to your variety of courses as there are another four within 25 minutes of Town and up to 14 within 45 minutes.
