Ping engineers were able to build the G hybrid with a lightweight crown that allowed the center of gravity to be moved lower and deeper in the clubhead, which leads to optimal launch, increased moment of inertia and lower spin rates. Additionally, the G hybrid’s face construction delivers faster ball speeds from impact points across the face. Ping offers five different lofts–17, 19, 22, 26, and 30-degree–in the G hybrid series, so that golfers have multiple options in terms of replacing different irons in their bags.

Easy to hit, but most importantly it goes straight, and is great hitting from the rough … Really love the trajectory and the distance.
