The white tees play at just over 2700 yards and have a slope of 115. It’s not intimidating, but the difficulty comes from the natural hazards that define each hole.
Hole 2 is a short par 5 at 415 yards, but the dogleg, water, sand, and trees provide a setting for high numbers on the scorecard. Hole 3 is a 160-yard par 3 that has a long, narrow green way up a hill with two deep bunkers in the front. If you hit it long on this one, then you are either going into the trees or across a cart path, so club selection is imperative.
The signature hole, and most difficult on the scorecard, is the finishing hole #9. It is a long 425-yard par 4 with a narrow fairway that is flanked by tall trees on both sides. The fairway has a swamp jutting in from the front side at around 270, which can come into play on long drives or approach shots. The green has bunkers short and left and sits atop a hill with the clubhouse in the background. It is a great hole to finish your round, especially if you can pull off a par, before you head inside.
