The Resort features two fun-filled golf courses. Lake Marion Golf Course is a perennial favorite with traveling golfers and will challenge you with pine tree-lined fairways and bordering lakes. The sister course to Lake Marion, Santee Cooper Country Club, offers perhaps the most scenic round of golf in the area. Set amid majestic pines and native foliage, this well-conditioned layout will test every shot in your bag with its series of beautiful dogleg holes, strategic bunkering and challenging par 3’s.

The Fun Extends into the Night with the Largest Putting Course in South Carolina
Santee Cooper Golf Resort’s Palmetto Traverse Putting Course was designed for wild fun, with putts as long as 260 feet possible and over some of the most varied terrain you will ever see in a putting surface. The design is based off the Himalayas putting course at St. Andrews, and designed by golf course architect and Donald Ross restoration specialist, Kris Spence. Guests enjoy The Traverse well into the night under the lights with their favorite beverages, settling bets, and sharing many laughs. The putting green is conveniently located steps from Santee Cooper Resort’s golf villa and townhouse accommodations.
